"Texas state fair always draws some of the biggest crowds. After a couple days the crew gets into a kind of rhythm and it makes for some of the best riding atmospheres I have ever encountered. I love riding in every aspect, in every discipline, and on any given day, but there is something about having a bunch of strangers screaming at the top of there lungs to motivate you. We drove 100 miles east of San Diego yesterday, over the mountains to avoid a day's worth of torrential downpour. 100 miles later we landed here. Perfect weather in Slab City. The US's largest legal squatters commune. Another check off the bucket list.
